Regretting Almost Everything, (formerly titled Things We Think But Don’t Dare Say) a new musical featuring book and lyrics by Lauren Taslitz and music by Danny Ursetti, will make its debut with a special two-night run on August 6 and 7 at Mr. Finn’s Cabaret (36 Linden Street, Pittsfield) at Barrington Stage Company. The performances will be the final installment of this year’s Artists on the Horizon emerging musical theater artists series and will star Broadway veterans Anne L. Nathan (Once) and Jeff Blumenkrantz (Bright Star).
An evening of sensational songs about the ups and downs of a long marriage, including, “I Let You Drive,” “A Very Short Jew in the Long Fur Coat,” “Main Line Philly Sex,” “I Want to Have an Affair,” and “We Bought A Plot.”. Lauren’s signature mix of twisted humor and brutal honesty is taken to a whole new level with Danny’s exciting music.
Bill Finn says “You’d be a fool to miss it.”

I received this beautiful Wurlitzer upright piano as a gift a few years ago and basically used it as a backup/sfx piano. It has always been out of tune, but I LOVE the sounds it could create and used it quite often on different film and recording projects.
She will be missed, but has found a good home. “If music be the food of love, play on.”
